Its my first time to visit Khewra Mines. It is the place that you must visit for once. If you have interest to visit places of Pakistan. Its a natural wonder on the earth. I was amazed to know that it was discovered 320 years BC when Alexander pass from here. And someone found that the horses of the soldiers are licking the stones while eating grass. So its a very old discovery.

The entry ticket is Rs. 120. And mine closes on 5:00 PM. We were on the edge of closing when we reached there. And it was a hurry to enter in the mine. I cant get the pictures the way I was thinking, because my cell was dead to battery. Which is the only source I have to take pictures. And I took these pictures from the cell of my friend.

The route we selected took a lot of time to reach there. We choose G.T. Road. But it would be good if we choose M2 for it. Lilla Interchange is just 22 km away from Khewra Mines.
